Was he wrong, in your opinion? Or does he have no obligation to keep JS's identity under wraps?

He sure is taking to the thread defending himself.

Seems shitty...but according to the thread, it wasn't much of a secret. I didn't know, but I didn't spend any time trying to figure it out.

Tonight reminds me of the night a couple of years ago where SLX had it out with Scipio & Jesus. It was ugly...really ugly....especially considering those guys had all been friends at one point. I believe what we are witnessing is a not only a revolution within Bellmont but also a revolution regarding the status quo of the Longhorn blogsphere. What's happening over on Orangebloods reminds me a lot of when HornsFans chose to self-destruct and effectively handed their crown over to Orangebloods. Orangebloods has ruled the roost since then in terms of eyeballs and appears to have gotten too fat and comfortable in their position as market leader and are unintentionally blowing themselves up. It's like Clemenza said in The Godfather....'these things have to happen every seven years or so". The big winners in all this will clearly be IT and Hornsports.

As long as it wasn't "JS is a shitty source for Texas information and you shouldn't listen to him." then I don't see the huge deal.

But then again and I'll say this again for the record. The big news sites will always scoff at "blogs." I prefer nontraditional news sources as the preferred nomenclature but blogs seems to always stick.

As other writers on here will confirm, you feel slighted and disrespect by the big boys because they constantly steal stories and get piss when you break a story before they do.

What gives anyone the right to out a person's name? Was it a big secret? No clue. I had never heard his name before. I just think it was a petty, slimy thing to do by Ketch. I'll probably be banned now, though. Guess that leaves more time to lurk HS and other places. Whatever. I just think Ketch shouldn't have used the excuse of JS posting on the article as a reason to roll it out to everyone. Common courtesy is not so common.

A poster on that thread is saying that the name everyone assumes is the right one is not correct. That thread is nuts!

screw ketch. that one thing to be outscooped but to go by his real name, pretty petty to say the least.

Personally I don't think it was a huge deal to release JS real name if it was already out there in the public domain. I had no idea who he was, and really didn't care to know. Unfortunately that is a risk you take when you post behind an alias. That said the motives for Ketch releasing his name seemed a little Bush League IMO. It seems like an all out war is starting to be waged between OB and IT. It's nice to come over here and see a much more relaxed environment.

I agree with Baghorn. I think we are watching Orangebloods self destruct. And if Saban to Texas DOES happen, you're going to see a lot more people leaving his site and coming here and IT. Remember, the first person to put their name behind Saban with 100% certainty was our very own mcphaul.

I think it was a B!TCH move on Ketch's part. I've been hammering him on twitter for that!

On here?? Twitter???

Ketch is showing why he's an ass. He's really coming off bad. He had no right to dictate someone needs to post under their name.

It was inevitable that Ketch outed himself a a supreme ass. That's what he has always been and always will be.

They're locking up any every thread over there that questions him in the slightest. It's BS.

The thread on this board entitled, I give permission this time(Saban rumor talk thread), post number 16 is very, very interesting with regards to the subject of this thread.....

I used to post under an alias here, and when I did fantasy sports. "Sgt John" was its own minor brand and I never thought to change it. One of the first lessons I learned was "put your name on it", so hence the change. I can understand why someone posts under an alias, and I think that is their exclusive business. NO ONE has a right to "out" them, especially the big bully on the block trying to take out a competitor.
