In a positive way, i hope. Saban, Fisher, Strong are all great hires at Texas. There are people on this board that can go in and win 6 games at Texas.

This doesn't leak to Chip and Bobby unless Bellmont wants it to leak. I am thinking this is to buy cover through Monday. If it is true. I am good with it. I like Stron. The timing seems off though. This could have been done sooner to hire Strong.

As good as he is, he was not the first choice. First you get the series of leaks saying its him. Now we have three saying it's not. Saban has been the number one choice for a year now. Today was the earliest he might make a decision after "Mack's last big recruiting trip." Info comes out on OB that says we have our guy. Speculation is that it's the one we've been waiting until today for (logically). Excitement grows. Thread gets deleted from OB (supposedly). Then, all this Charlie Strong info starts to trickle down. Then, about 30 minutes later, the it's not Charlie Strong info starts to trickle down.

Folks, if there truly is a deal inked (as posted, but later deleted on OB like the Flight to Tuscaloosa today that mysteriously disappeared from Flightaware 25 minutes after it took off), then it's Saban. Forget the leaks and think about the logic of it all.

The hire will get all due pomp and circumstance. Sounds to me like the committee met this evening to ratify the choice and approve the contract, and that it leaked from the meeting.

Guys its time to unify. Strong is our guy. You do realize that if Saban was still "deciding" these leaked announcements would be the biggest red flag in history? That would be 2 shit shows he witnessed head on. If he was undecided earlier tonight he's an oak now you can be sure.
