We wanted to let you guys know that we will be transitioning the site to new software within the next week.  While we don't anticipate any issues with logins and password, etc, there is a possibility that some of you may encounter them (fingers crossed hopefully not)!  Regardless, we will be here to support you through the (hopefully painless) transition.  The front end and message board will look different, but not too different, and will be more beneficial for our long-term goals at HornSports.  Thanks to all of you for being members at HornSports and we look forward to many more years of talking Longhorns with you!

I have my password in my keychain, I think. If I have to login, it just shows up when I start typing my screen name or email address. Hopefully, this will continue to be the case. lol

I’m sure you guys are working on it but until that feature is added, the board is pretty worthless. Click on the thread and it’ll send you back three or four years.

I do not like this version. Seems like a lot of browsing features disappeared.

This may be the way to find your newest posts to read. If there is a new post, the head line becomes bold? Then click the last page and then at the top right click "jump to new". Does that work?

It might have been more prudent to do the site change after RRR week. Just saying.

I haven't been on all week and I logged in today and I have 9 suspicious alerts telling me that I'm been award a trophy.

Seems like it's a work in progress. I am reserving judgment until it seems to be stable. For now it's annoying.

I will also reserve judgment until they get the bugs worked out. But I also will mostly stay away until you are able to go to the first unread post in a thread. That's a deal breaker for me.

It seems like I'm getting a different experience from most, but when I open threads that are unread (in bold) on a new tab in my browser, it takes me to the first unread post. Maybe the changes will make its way slowly to everyone.

I clicked on this thread again and it took me to the first unread post so like any new software, they're working out the quirks and bugs.
