I'm starting to see the website mentioned on other forums. I saw that Hornsports was mentioned on a Wichita State forum about a recent article about Roach. I also saw Hornsports mentioned on a BYU board about a recent article written about Moore. The word is getting out there.

From what I've seen the basketball articles (like the Roach piece) are getting the most play. I've always thought basketball and baseball recruiting info has always been limited on other sites. IMO if you continue getting info/articles out about baseball and basketball you will eventually start getting a bigger crowd over here. Matter of fact, I see people criticizing 247 all the time for their lack of baseball and basketball coverage. I think a niche definitely exists for sports outside of football (that's not to say that football coverage isn't important).

To be fair, the money is in football. You always milk the cash cow.

However, I have the freedom to write whatever the heck I want here. Every article I submit to Matt, I read again and there are few, if any changes to it. That's not always the case at other sites. Or some of those big time writers have ghost writers do their work from time to time (I won't say who but you shouldn't be surprised who does).

We passionately cover the Longhorns. There can be objectivity and passion in your writing, it just has to be balanced consistently.

Besides, if we get big enough, there will be a number of people complaining about something else. Sometimes you just can't win with people.
