So, anybody feel decent about our team after that shit show that was just on national television against a team that lost to an FCS team?

It was horrible. Gray couldn't hold on to the ball and once again the defense was exposed. I'm so mad I can't talk.... Living off Sudafed and Bourbon until midnight.....

Im pretty numb to it. We are getting twitter trolled by Bill Byrnes stupid ass and A walkon back up QB trolling fans. Unreal.

They have 9 days to live in my mind.

I saw the Bill Byrne tweet. What an assloaf.

I can take close games on the road. Its the complete mismanagement that pisses me off. Gray great at the beginning... Lost in shuffle till late in the game. There is no regularity with the offense. Players cant get familiar or learn tendencies. There is no flow to whatever they call a gameplan... Mack has become a micromanager and he sucks at that.

Mack in his last games... Needs to pick players and stick with it. U CANNOT get better without ample playing time.

Now OU game... Start drinking now...

We beat a team that was ranked last in the Big 12... By 1 point. Wow... This RRR may be the worst of the last 3. Man our D is horrible! Case McCoy is unbelievably terrible! How does the run game just begin to start working in the 1st and then all of a sudden it seems like a good idea to allow McCoy to pass the ball every single down!? It was stated above, Mack has no game plan. He just shows the F@#K up and does whatever the magic 8ball says I guess. The whole game was terrible... I can't believe what Mack has turned the program into.

Couple of things. I can see fans being disrespectful but when a man who used to be in a position of power says such outrageous bullshit, is there any wonder Agies are idiots and are driven to have sex with farm animals? I think not.

Second..I spent two hours watching and re-watching the fumble/non fumble. In this clip watch how Gray's knee could have touched the ground. The view is blocked by a lineman.

It is easy to see how the refs, on the field, missed the call. There is a ton of bodies, and all they saw was a guy come out of the pile with the ball, but clearly after the whistle had been blown. They called Gray down by contact and sent the decision up to the booth.

Here is where it gets tricky. The booth has to have indisputable evidence to overturn a call on the field. In this case there is a brief moment where Gray's knee could have touched. It looked like it did not, but it was so close, there is no way to be certain some part of his body did not touch the ground? Based on this I determined it was the correct call.

If you get a chance to watch it again, notice how there is a brief second where Gray's knee could have went down? This gives the benefit of the doubt to the original call. There are simply too many bodies in the pile to make a definitive ruling. Again it has to be definitive evidence to overturn a call.

I just watched ESPN update the call, and they used the same logic I did, proving nothing except the original call was probably wrong but the call being upheld by review reflects the rule behind instant replay.

One last thing. OU and Agie still suck!

The fact of the matter is that a 1 point win against a team deemed the worst in the Big 12 and has a loss to an FCS team is no better than a loss... Mack should catch just as much shit for this win as he would if they'd lost.

Of course my OU buddies are livid about the possible bad call but another fact or the matter is that shitty calls happen every single weekend and we'll never get away from them. I'm glad we won but this win feels so much like a loss.

This from the Big XII backs up my previous point that there was no definitive evidence of when the ball came out.

The ruling made on the goal line play was that the runner was down by rule with the ball. Because of that ruling, instant replay is allowed to review the play, which it did. Had the ruling on the field been forward progress, the play would not be reviewable because the goal line was not involved. The Replay Official looked at all five views available for this play: Line Feed, Goal Line cart, Press Box angle, Sky Cam, and Opposite End Zone camera. He correctly determined there was no indisputable video evidence to confirm that either the ruling on the field was correct, or that the ball was loose prior to the runner being down. By rule when there is not indisputable video evidence to confirm or change the call on the field, the ruling stands.
On this play, the covering official ruled the runner was down and still had control of the ball. There is no question the runner ends up on the ground, and there is no question that eventually an Iowa State player ends up with the ball. However, after reviewing the video evidence it is impossible to tell with certainty when the runner loses control of the ball and at that point was he down or not.

After review, it's was definitely a turnover. Iowa State should have been given possession. Regardless of the missed call, Mack Brown should be fired NOW. Since the current AD is a derelict, UT fans can only hope that Mack Brown would retire at the end of the season. Of course, when DeLOSSY (brain dead) Dudd pays Mack Brown 5 mils a year, there is really no incentive to retire or resign.

Mack Brown's career has been riddled with "lucky" escapes vs weak teams. That's why I find it hard to resist mocking / ridiculing some clueless fans when they defend Mack Brown the Imposter with the usual 10-win-season BS.

Anyone else heard the rumor about Mack demanding more money for a contract buyout?
