Shaka Smart Tests Positive for COVID

Texas basketball coach Shaka Smart has tested positive for COVID-19 the University announced on Monday morning.

The Longhorns are slated to play the Oklahoma Sooners tomorrow in Austin and the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday in Lexington as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

Statement from Coach Smart:

"I tested positive for COVID and am in isolation away from our team and my family. I am working remotely and look forward to rejoining our team in person when it is safe to do so."
