SEC Bias discussion

Second is the joining of SEC with CBS a little over ten-plus years ago. Few stop and focus on it, but the production qualities of that 2:30 central Sat afternoon game with Verne and Gary is way over the top in making things sound bigger than life and bigger than the country and the whole planet.

SEC on CBS arrived as the 16:9 units were on the horizon rolling out, as ESPN was soon to saturate from Thur to Sat, as everybody would be getting 720p or 1080i, with DVR for replay, and the whole shebang could be aired more gloriously than ever...
Exactly. CBS did more for the SUC than most people realize.

Kyle Peterson just said on the Road to Omaha preview that Childress and A&M were a national power. LMAO. I guess about 50 teams in college baseball are now considered national powers. What does it take to be a national power these days?

Anyone have aggys CWS or postseason numbers?

FWIW Kyle Peterson does call SEC games now

Good find, J.B.
Nobody from the B1G is gonna stop SEC schools from hosting satellite camps up in MI, OH, and PA. I find it comical that the SEC wants to impose ONE RULE  on the other P5 leagues that helps them. F'n knuckleheads

No wonder aggy fits in so well with these yokels

With LSU winning the men's golf & Florida winning the softball title, aggy has 2 more titles they can claim now!  $ec! $ec!

10-1 in last 11 Cotton Bowls

14-3 in Independence Bowl all-time

8-1 in BCS National Championship games

6-1 in last 7 Citrus Bowls

Keep in mind that an SEC team in the Sugar Bowl was often the #2 team from the conference because #1 was in the BCS Championship game. I will say that higher ranked SEC teams haven't fared well in that bowl, maybe the #2 SEC team is overrated every year.

Selective stats are fun.
