Guess on the first 2018 commit? Also guess on who the 2018 QB commit will be?

How many players do you believe the staff is going to take in the 2018? Speaking of next years class, I notice that all of the QB's they've offered so far have been out of state guys. Who do you think staff will focus on in terms of QB's in-state?
I would love for them to focus on Spencer Sanders from Denton

Charlie had been good for a couple of late flips every year to give us some NSD excitement.

Do we see Herman swinging for the fences on a guy we haven't heard much about yet?
No. Won't be much NSD drama other than what's expected

Curious to know who Charlie flipped late that first year....He brought Puna with him...but who did he really flip?

First year I believe was Newsome & Locke on NSD
Newsome and Locke were the 2015 group. I think they're talking about the Foreman and Heard group in 2014. The only one that comes to mind in that class was Freeman. I'm not sure he was committed somewhere else, but I remember him being a late sway. Bonney was also one that flirted with Baylor but came to the good guys late.

Interesting. Actually, I haven't seen much film of Spencer Sanders on field, so I can only assume he's good. My personal pick would be Jalen Mayden...I'm curious as to how others on this board feel about him.

Wasn't Bonney a Nebraska commit? Could be making this up, but sounds familiar.

I like Mayden too. I still like Sanders more, imo. It'll be interesting to see if the staff goes after either

Bonney, Heard and Foreman were all committed by Mack. Strong managed to hold on to them which was a challenge, but still, they were not flips as they were committed to Texas when Strong got here. I just asked if anyone knows if Strong flipped anyone that first year. The only gut close to what I would call a flip is Puna.....anyone else got anyone?

What are you hearing about progress with some of the redshirts we had on the OL? I expect our depth to be sick this year with Hudson, Imade, Okafor, Delance, Uquidez, as well as Buck Major battling for time. If Buck Major's light ever turns on, he's going to be special.

I don't believe there was anyone that first year.
