Sam Ehlinger's stats so far this year

He's playing like the best QB in the state.  Though some on twitter would like to argue with me he's not in the top tier.  I had him at #11 in our first set of rankings before the summer.
This kid is a machine, great size and athleticism with Colt like Accuracy.  He can't stand to see the ball hit the ground and he doesn't throw interceptions.  His numbers are stout!  Too bad he doesn't play for some Roman Catholic College Prep School or he would be considered a 5*.  I'm looking forward to the depth that is building at this position for Texas.  It's been a while!

He has one interception in 280 pass attempts these last two years (0 ints this season).  I think thats the most impressive stat to me.

It really is insanely impressive when you think about it. Not even one pass tipped off of a receivers hands into the chest of a defender. That's pinpoint accuracy. We've been in a QB drought since Colt graduated. That appears to be changing with Heard, Locksley, Buechele and Ehlinger.

I'm starting to wonder if Locksley doesn't move to WR at some point. He's a great talent but he needs time to develop. That time might not be available.
