Saban appearing on Gameday tomorrow

Probably the worst possible sign imaginable for Texas fans.
He was likely previously scheduled and has been on there several times in the past few months

My guess is that they won't bring it up and if they do they will ask layup questions. I can't imagine a major announcement on Gameday.

Saban will already know the questions before he steps foot on the Gameday set. He will have already let the Gameday crew know if he will address the Texas issue or not. It will be interesting to see if the question comes up, number one, and what is reply will be, if it is asked. By the way, his appearance is booked well ahead of time, so he was not booked today for those thinking that he is booked to specifically announce a contract extension. However, that being said, if there is one to announce (which I do not think there is), it could be done obviously in this manner.

It's standard operating procedure for ESPN to have top coaches not involved in the games being played join the show during the conference championship game week and for the MNC game.
