First, the caveat: This is strictly speculation

1. Am I the only one that thinks that Mack will NOT introduce Saban at the banquet?

2. Am I the only one that believes that Saban, the driven football coach, has not signed his Bama extension simply because he hasn't had time to look at it nor discuss it with his agent and lawyer?

3. Am I the only one that questions the home buying other than a Terri Saban investment?

4. Finally, am I the only one that wonders why Saban, the process detail man, would not have already contacted coaches to assist him at Texas - if he seriously was considering the job? And, if he has, in fact, done so, why hasn't this information already been leaked?

From day one, I have always believed it was wishful thinking that Saban would just uproot and come to Texas. Because I sincerely WANT him to come, it has colored my common sense factor mightily. Especially with all the believable rumors that have swirled for all of these months. I have very nearly been brainwashed to flipping my beliefs.

Okay, now that I have lined up all my reasons and opinions why I don't think we will get Saban, I will now say - there is a chance. I say this because I have learned there will be a coaching vacancy for sure.

And we needed to start with that.

1. I doubt he introduces Saban at the banquet that's supposed to be an honor to himself.

2. Possible, but it sure is creating a lot of unneeded speculation and worry.

3. I don't know what to think about that stuff. Too far over my head.

4. Because there's no official job opening yet.

I don't believe all the rumors, but the story has ceased to die after how long?
