Is he damaged goods?

He's got 4 years of playing time left. It doesn't seem to me that Sark would take him at this time as he is unproven. Sark uses the portal to fill in for a spot he feels they have a weakness with someone who can play right away, not develop in a year or two. Maybe in a couple of years they would take him if he develops and stays healthy.

He has two years left. This was his 3rd season.

He started 13 games over his first two seasons. 'Battling injuries" this year, I don't know what the details of that are but he hasn't been playing much this season.

Would be coaching malpractice to not do due diligence on a DT of his caliber. I imagine he'll have plenty of teams checking into him at least.

Its way too early to cross that bridge. Wait until the portal opens and see who enters. We don't need an unproven junior.

Project Rudy.

It always seemed to me that if the top blue blood programs wanted to maximize their revenue, they would band together and recieve all of their revenue potential, without subsidizing the mid size and smaller revenue schools within the conferences.

It seems like Project Rudy tries to do exactly that. The winners would be schools like Texas,Ohio State,Alabama, Georgia... the biggest losers would be the big conference bottom feeders.

I don't know that this will happen, and not sure that venture capital is needed for a similar reorganization, but at a minimum it's an interesting proposal.

I don't know how they exactly report the viewership numbers but I imagine most casual fans will tune out of a game if it is a blowout in favor of watching tighter finishes. I know that's what I tend to do for non-Texas games.
