If Texas wants in the CFP, then these need to happen, imo:

1. Obviously, Texas needs to win the B12 CCG;
2. UGA beats Bama; UGA in
3. Washington beat Oregon; UW in
4. tOSU beats Michigan; tOSU in
5. Florida today or Louisville next week beat FlSt (this is the key one)

Texas gets in over a 2 loss Bama, 2 loss Oregon and a 1 loss, non-conf champion Michigan.

I could be wrong, but that is the easiest path as I see it. No way in hell the committee leaves out a SEC Champion Bama.

I like what Sark said. We take care of our business and everything else will work out the way it should.

I don't think so, If UW is undefeated as a conference champ we are out, if Oregon is a one loss conference champ like us, I think our schedule hold us to theirs

In last week's ranking Oregon was ahead of us. It will be interesting to see this week's rankings, but a win over Washington is going to look better then a win over osu, so I wouldn't expect them to drop below us if they win out.

They showed the stats last night of Oregon, Texas, Bama and Louisville.

OU has a SOS of 60 something (lowest of all 4) with 2 wins over Top 25 teams. Texas has a SOS of 9 with 3 wins over Top 25 teams. How are they ranked ahead of us?

I am not saying we shouldn't be ahead of Oregon (we should).

If we were currently ahead of them then maybe we could hold on after our less impressive conference championship win, but that isn't going to move us up.

Our only hope is of being ahead of Oregon in that scenario is if they decide our blow out win over tt, relative to Oregon barely beating them should move us ahead this week.

Sorry, that GIF wasn't directed at you, it was a rhetorical question.

If this happened, the press conferences would be better than Jimbo. Imagine him arguing with Holtz how aggies are better than Texas and defending the toughness of the sheep corp.:ROFLMAO:

This would seem very surprising. Ohio State is a better job in almost every way.

Let's dream here a bit.

Auburn beats bama in the iron bowl. Washington St. beats Washington in the Apple Cup. I know it is unlikely but at least these are rivalry games.

Iowa beats OSU or Michigan in the Big10 Championship game.
