Watching ESPN College Football Final and aggy had a Johnson decoy throwing the ball (lefthanded even) in a tee-shirt with #14 on it before the game yesterday. The announcers were like "Do they thinking they were fooling anybody?". aggy gonna aggy

It doesn't surprise me that aggy is moving on from jimbo, but the timing does seem surprising.

For as disappointing aggy has been on the field, THE BMDs have continued to PAY well. Recruiting is largely about relationships, so the new staff is going to have a challenging situation.

You also have to wonder if maybe they already have a replacement picked, which would allow the new coach more time, although successful coaches are normally reluctant to leave before the end of the season.

FIFY. Lane Kiffen got it right last week...aggy has done a good job of collecting players. Developing a winning team from kids with that it's all about the NIL money mindset can be difficult. That's why college football has been better than the NFL where it's all about the next contract, not necessarily winning.

They must have something lined up, or at least feel confident, if they're letting go of Jimbo now.
