For sure, the information is only useful if the guy calling the plays have the information, and that's usually the coordinators and or the head coach.

Assuming they can confirm this, then I don't see any plausible denyability by Harbaugh.

It certainly doesn't help Harbaugh and Michigan's case that the alleged sign stealer is literally standing next to Harbaugh during games.
