Old Baylor coach, and Briles' son-in-law, gonna Baylor. What is going on at BlowU? Is Lebby doing a, "Oh yea, watch me" or trying to get fired? Or is there some dissension in the file and ranks? I know that is his father-in-law, but one has to choose their battles. On the other hand, keep it up, Lebby. LOL
First time I saw it, my reaction was a leak from within because Tucker is obviously not going to be their guy and his contract is Jimbo ridiculous.I assume she is telling the truth, but this is surely a very "convenient" way for Michigan State to get out of a huge payout for a coach that hasn't come close to achieving the expected results.
Given the aggy situation, and Texas sovereign immunity laws you have to wonder if aggy could come up with an excuse, real or imagined to fire Jimbo with cause. Based on what happened to Mike Leach it doesn't seem like Jimbo would have any recourse.

I think the root of the issue is Lebby and Castiglione supposedly having an agreement that Briles wouldn't be in the public eye for the very reason we're discussing now.Just a stupid overreaction from fans. Lebby has a point... was after the game, and he's there with his grandchildren. Not a good look, but this is being overblown.

Thanks, Floss...didn't know that part. I can understand that then.I think the root of the issue is Lebby and Castiglione supposedly having an agreement that Briles wouldn't be in the public eye for the very reason we're discussing now.
If that's the case, then Lebby is using the grandfather excuse for going back on his word.
And if we all really think about it, Lebby is extremely lucky to be employed anywhere.
