Yes, I have. USC sits next door to homeless on the sidewalks injecting heroin along with their tent cities. Human fecal matter everywhere. Syringes everywhere.

Norman is butt ugly, but its not as bad as California.

I’ve been to both.  Stationed on the west coast for 5 years.  If you make $10M a year, you are living in Manhattan Beach or Rolling Hills.  You can’t enjoy the fruits of earning $10M a year in Norman. For all of its faults, California can be enjoyed if you make enough money. Oklahoma sucks if you’re poor….   or rich.

First and foremost. If I was making $10 or more a year. Then yes I could find a place just outside of Norman, like Riley apparently did with 2 places because i don't want to pay the 13+% state tax on the $10 to the new age version of Al Capone in Newsome as governor.  No matter the location, one has to go by the homeless, illegals,  drug dealers, drug addicts, and gangs to get to USC.  Besides I've had family in OK. I know that Enid with a air force/navy base for flight training is there and know places in Norman that are still cleaner than the  cesspool in LA. 

But to each their own. I guess. Even most military in today's world hates to be in CA and dealing with the fake woke dipshits in charge. I do know that for a FACT!
