I'm not a fan of Deion, but he's not stupid. He'll leverage this into the biggest paycheck possible and move on.

Based on what Klatt said it seems like he really likes coaching at the collegiate level, and if he's successful then that's plenty lucrative.

No doubt. He won't coach at the Pro level, but there are plenty of other schools with more money and resources than Colorado.
Also, wait until he plays against good competition. The team is definitely better than last year, but will it be good enough to entice boosters to come after him with a blank check? Time will tell.

Agreed. Here's another way to look at it.... it's hard to come up with names that would be more appealing to a big-time university than Dion. Recruiting, excitement... the only thing left is winning at the power 5 level - and so far so good. The PAC 10/12... whatever (ironically) is a murderers row this year. Let's say Dion goes 9-3.... who is more appealing?
