Tell that to usc... we had good pick ups as well. The portal is a good resource, but it is not 100% fool proof. Neither is the NFL draft or free agency. 

To be fair, most of USC's portal pick ups were from OU, so a lot of those kids didn't have to learn a new system.

When they get rid of 3rd party tampering the portal will be much cleaner.

True, however, without it usc has to start from scratch and would not be near as successful.

The Heisman for me has lost a lot of its luster.   It’s become another QB award and nothing else.

The Heisman for me has lost a lot of its luster.   It’s become another QB award and nothing else.   

I lost all respect for the Heisman after VY didnt win it.

VY definitely should have won it.  But because he didn't win it, I wonder if it fired him up a little more to beat USC and prove it on the field with the whole world watching.
