Is Auburn a better job than Ole Miss? Ole Miss is a flagship state school. Auburn is little brother to Bama. The Auburn BMDs are waaaayyyyy too involved. Honestly, I'd stay at Ole Miss. He's got a good thing working there.

This was my thinking too. What exactly is the draw to Auburn that isn't already at Ole Miss, with the exception of maybe some potential better NIL opportunities?

More than at Texas? No way!!! I read a rumor on this very board that ours chose the current coach, qb, and maybe even what kind of tp is in the restrooms. Supposedly the AD has no say in any of it. That’s pretty involved. Don’t ya think??

It's hard to know what is going on. This could just be his agent trying to extract more money out of Ole Miss.  

He has always acted like a free agent,  no matter what he is going to capitalize on his rescent success, and that's the way things work these days.
