The hire of Brick Haley should give us a lot of up side over Rumph. Do y'all think that Brick Haley first job will be to mend to bridge with some of our defensive recruit? Do y'all feel that  Brick Haley is going to a better recruiter than Rumph. My friends y'all have a blessed weekend.

Good question.   I will defer to the experts but we have now hired someone with strong ties to East Texas as well as a new coach with strong ties in talent rich Louisiana. . . 

Certainly doesn't hurt my feelings.

I personally think he has to contact the d-line recruits right away if he hasn't already, just so they can see there will be stability at the position. He can also discuss with them the success he's had at getting players drafted.

He most likely will be a better recruiter than Rumph because of the long standing relationships he has in the Houston and Louisiana areas.

I honestly think Haley is a better overall coach and recruiter than Rumph.
