if that is true, IMO that fact needs to be shared with the team and new recruits so that they know that CS had no knowledge of this prior to today.  In other words CS did not lie or mislead them.  Rumph may have known prior to NSD that he had the offer and he may have decided to accept it and leave, but that is a separate issue from what did CS know and when did he know it.

Lampkin looks bigger than 6'3 291 because im 6'1 210 and i play peek-a-boo with him standing there. I told my 2 oldest that see him in class "dont be surprised when you see him again and he's 6'4 315 and yet quicker"

That boy is a beast and not just against cup cakes like Jersey Village and Cypress Lake; I'm talking about 1 arm sacks against Cy Ranch, Cy Fair, etc.

Great kid and I'm sure we're just seeing the shock factor because Lampkin has been wearing Ut gear at school all year long.

CS is going to have to do some damage control with the team and especially with the new recruits then move fast on a replacement.

I'm sure the damage control has already started, especially if CS was blind-sided as is being reported.  The upperclassmen have to be really tired of coaching turnover.  Still it's better that it happens now if it's going to happen.

Well, Alabama was a heck of lot closer than Austin. He should have stayed there unless Saban was bringing Davis back anyway.
