Rooting for OU?

I am. Our goal is a Big 12 championship and a Tech loss to a team we beat helps us. Hard to swallow but I am rolling with the crimson and cream right now.

I am not. UT already beat OU. Beating a high-ranked Tech team helps UT as well. And I would never pull for OU under any circumstance.

Having a team we beat take out an undefeated competitor is a good thing for us. Even if that team is OU. If another hated rival - A&M - would have beaten Tech in 2008, we would have been in the national championship instead of OU. But I imagine you would not root for A&M either, even in hindsight. The reality is that you rarely control your own destiny in today's college football. And that means rooting for arch rivals has become a necessity at times - like right now in this Tech game...

May not matter because Tech is balling right now. Love the way Kingsbury coaches, although I I think it is easier to coach this way at an upstart program with relatively low expectations like Tech than it is at a more prominent school. Some of these decisions are pure gambling, and he is in the black right now. But good for him.

OU is winning and looks like they will hold on to win this thing.

I was rooting for Tech. My neighbor is a huge Tech homer and his open door anguish was apparent
