With a father who is an NC State grad, I was not a huge fan of Dean Smith growing up.  I do, however, have tremendous respect for what he brought to the game of college basketball.  He was an iconic coach.  He passed last night at the age of 83.  RIP Dean Smith.

Sadly, Dean Smith spent his last couple of years lost in the cloud of dementia.

RIP, Coach

crazy. Unless one-done is repealed you'll never come close to seeing that kind of talent on a college floor.
