If Riley was the OC, why wouldn't he have been announced with the rest of the staff?

IMO Texas is targeting an OC that has a hold up. Someone like Chad Morris who is looking at head coaching positions or might have a buyout issue. I'm also starting to think the OC is going to be someone that nobody has mentioned.

I think the price for the OC is 1 MIL or more.....so cannot be hired (or announced) until the BOR approves the 1 MIL or over. Monday the BOR Meets to approve the Hires for all.

Riley is in Carolina, he may have been announced and communicated via some electronic communication device.

That is my line of thinking as well. Allegedly we were given a 1.3ish per coordinator budget. I'm sure we will find out before COB tomorrow.

Was Bedford at the team meeting is my question then? I would think Riley would have been at the team meeting, even if BOR hasn't approved. Which is making me think either A) there's a hold up on another potential OC or B) an OC search is still taking place. If Bedford was at the team meeting then I don't think it's Riley, because he would have been there too.

Based on Morris' itinerary it does not seem to fit him coming here. Obviously just a guess and could very well be wrong.

Good one!!

Had a brain fart and couldn't think of the proper term...matter of fact, I still am...

Obviously some people don't understand how hard it is to get play-off tickets... ;)
