Reminder (please read)

fine, but can we mock the 'insider' who said we wouldn't get a recruit because the ags were paying him? or the guys who said we had no chance because charlie can't recruit, his coaches can't recruit, our facilities suck, our game day sucks, our conference sucks, 

that's all fair game, right?

Glad the no beer at DKR wasn't an issue for Malik or DeAndre.

 
I am thrilled my wish came true.  My wish for Jefferson and McNeal was for them to achieve their dreams.  I believe that they have taken the first step in that direction today, with their commitment to Texas.  We all have stories about our experiences at The University and how those experiences changed our lives, but it is more than the experiences, it is the environment.

When people ask me to pinpoint the most important thing I learned at The University, I always answer it in one sentence.  The University taught me how to think.  The longer answer is think, analyze, and resolve.

I was just alerted by a good friend that someone claimed here that Jefferson was getting paid. Let me just say this, that moronic son of a bitch that said it should never be allowed on this site again. He's a butthurt cancer with an agenda and overblown ego with very little to have an ego about. Those that have whined non stop since he got himself tossed should be embarrassed and apologize for getting duped by an asshole.
I guess that's the end of this rant. Kept it as clean as I could. Let the editing or deleting begin.

Guys, I was one of those that was told money had been offered to MJ. Outside of that main issue (money offered), I can't say whether it did or did not happen. Neither does anyone else.

It could be that such an offer was made by some excitable alumnus and was politely turned down. Or maybe it didn't happen at all. The thing is, no one really knows.

Lets not get upset about things before we know for fact what is what. And at this point, who cares? We got MJ!

I know you're trying to be a peace maker Mark, but unfortunately the poster in question went WAY overboard in multiple ways that night...not the least of which was making derogatory remarks about some of the people that own/run this board. Not sure why he did that. But the bottom line is...he lost whatever credibility he had...which was not a lot.

I have nothing against him personally and would welcome him to post here any time he wants....just as a regular guy (which is the way I view him). But he most definitely should not be treated as some kind of hot shot insider that's supposed to know stuff that no one else knows. He's been proven wrong way too many times before to justify that kind of respect.
