Why did I have it my head that Toviano was going to make a decision at this game?  Was I drunk?

Or possibly just mistaken?

I thought he looked okay tonight. He had a few pretty good plays. Martin has him playing safety. He does bring the wood. He is quick. Seemed to fly around pretty well and was usually where the ball was.

Martin has a good team, good athletes. LT didn't help themselves, trying to wear down Martin while down two touchdowns early in the 2nd half.

So, watching the game on ESPNU?  Hate the announcers for the game. Saw what a typical 1st game of the year for high school students seems to be like. Some good and some bad plays on both sides. Also, the officials 1st game of the year as well. Missed some calls.   

Toviano, had several nice plays, but could tell quickily that LT wasn't going to let him beat them. Now wondering how many teams will follow suit untill that No. 4 young man, for Martin, gets as much attention as Toviano?  Plus, LT had a young man that had never started for a game for the V team. Thus I doubt they wanted him to challenge one of the best defensive players in the nation. 

Toviano, had the right angle, but need to rewatch the game on the 4th quarter play, where if right angle should have used his speed at the angle to get the RB out of bounds. But need to rewatch to confirm.

That was the plan originally but he opted to push it back. No set timeline now but the IT folks think September or October.

Correct, that was rumored to be a decision date for him for a while because of the national coverage, but he wasn't ready.
