Recruiting tidbit.....

Fort Worth SWHS wide receiver and Baylor commit Robbie Rhoades is not 100% sure about Baylor and is apparently weighing all of his options. The Longhorns reached out to Rhoades again after deciding to drop pursuit of RSJ.

Also, remember Lancaster DE Daeshon Hall who flipped and committed to Washington? He is taking other visits and Texas is not completely out of the picture yet. Hall was considered a strong Huskie favorite but recently made the comment that the Horns are still a viable option for him.

After being officially "unrecruited" by Texas, Sealy product Ricky Seals-Jones has scratched the Longhorns off of his list and named Texas A&M and LSU as his leaders.

Look for many recruits to be at the West Virginia game in Austin on October 6, including Chevoski Collins, Cole Luke and many already committed players.

Remember Trent Gow, the Mansfield High School Tight End? Well, there is a possibility of him still receiving an offer by Texas as a gray shirt. After Geoff Swaim was taken it seemed like Gow was out of the picture. The Texas Staff has maintained communication somewhat with Gow and Bruce Chambers will probably be making a trip to Mansfield to watch Gow play this year. Trent is having a great season and this kid can block, catch AND run. I have been a fan for a while now so I hope it works out...

I find it easy to kill them in my mind. Rankings are beauty contests and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Garrett Gilbert was one of the top recruits in the country and how did that turn out? I fall in love with them when they enroll and until then I watch at a distance. This goes double for a guy who would consider ATM.
