1-Control your overreactions. Strong has only had a couple of weeks to build relationships with these kids. Relationships are everything in recruiting. As Sean Adams posted on Twitter, "Calling #Texas fans down off the cliff now. Strong's success will not be determined by the 2014 class. Attitude alone will be a huge change."

2-Can we please stop with all the Aggie recruiting threads? It's fine to post in a single thread, but with titles like "please make it stop" is going overboard. We aren't even competing against A&M anymore. As Sean Adams posted on Twitter, "#Texas still have the 14th ranked class in 2014 (@Rivals). Still ahead of current Big 12 champ. #CoachUpTheCurrentPlayers #WinningHealsAll." If we were getting killed by Big 12 schools I might be worried, but we still have the best class in the Big 12 (that's our competition).

3-Recruiting is recruiting. Just because Alaka flipped isn't always because he disliked Strong, there are other selling points. As Sean Adams posted on Twitter, "Kids go where they feel best suits them. Respect that. 2. ATM's defense was so bad they can sell playing time and that is appealing."

FYI everyone should follow Sean Adams, he's a voice of reason.

While I agree with a majority of your post, we do compete against A&M for recruits. Yes, we will still bring in talented young men that will work their butt off for 4 years for our program, but this trend of losing highly rated recruits to A&M is an alarming fact that needs to be highlighted. Yes, A&M will struggle this year, but it's no guarantee that we won't struggle as well with BYU, UCLA, Baylor, and OU on a front loaded half of the schedule. Finally, my deal with Strong losing so many recruits from this class is the fact that we aren't losing open recruits, but we are losing committed recruits. Guys that commit to a great institution and program like UT shouldn't be leaving when we hire a coach that is a proven defensive success. Something is up here and I don't like the way it is trending.

How about you start any thread you want & I will do the same. It's a message board..

we need to all relax on this recruiting ....I believe we will be alright.

1-Sean Adams isn't even close to a sunshine pumper. He was one of the first guys to say we should get rid of Mack. Sean Adams has been one of the most level headed voices on this whole situation. This coming from someone that can't stand most analysts/reporters for their sunshine pumping.

2-I understand your point, but that's not how recruiting works. Most players commit to coaches, and when coaches leave they de-commit. Look at all the recruits Vandy is losing. It's all part of the process. Give Strong a chance with his 2015 class and don't judge him by this class (he's only had a couple weeks to build relationships with players).

3-Sure, losing recruits to A&M isn't a good thing. It surely isn't something to meltdown over though. We've taken the right steps by hiring a new coach that can "win". That's how we swing the momentum. The fact that we still have the top class in the Big 12 should still be comforting, since that's where most our competition comes from on the field.

All I'm saying is let's all just calm down and not act like the sky is falling because we've lost a couple of recruits. That's how this thing works when you make a coaching change.

I'm sorry man you overreact too much for my taste. Same thing happened when you thought Joe was taking visits to USC and you went on a Twitter tirade. The same tirade that Joe responded too and said wasn't happening. Not everything is always perfect, doesn't mean you have to meltdown.

You need to get your facts straight. I reported on twitter that Joe was visiting USC & TCU. By the way he was at TCU this weekend. That is not a tirade.

Yes, and you went on a tirade about him de-committing. Joe even responded to you, and said it wasn't true.

I actually think you are very knowledgeable and I enjoy your podcasts, but your meltdowns are something else.

I said it's possible he might decommit. that's not a tirade. I reported the facts he was taking visits and might decommit. He responded and it was true. He took visits.
