Per 247.

Some thoughts.

1-If you would have told me our best two recruiters were Brian Jean Mary and Chris Vaughn I would have laughed before the season started. I'm very impressed with those two.

2-Wickline is what I expected. His average player rating isn't that high, but that's how he recruits. He recruits potential (like Major, Williams and Nickelson). He likes raw guys that can develop.

3-Tommie Robinson is a drastically underrated recruiter IMO. We probably don't land Newsome, Townsend or Warren without Robinson.

Rumph is a big loss as he was a very good recruiter and a good DL coach. Those 2 qualities are a must for the next guy. He has to be an ace recruiter. We don't have much depth in 2016/2017 right now and we need 3 DTs in 2016 class. 2 that can play and 1 we can redshirt. The top 3 guys in state are Kendall Jones, Ed Oliver and M Williams. All are nationally recruited and out new DL coach needs to make that connection with them asap and he has to be a good hands on coach. Very important hire more important than the TE/ST hire though obviously both are going to be important hires.

Scout picked a stealer of land as tops in B12

Big 12: Jerry Montgomery - Oklahoma

The newly promoted Co-Defensive Coordinator at Oklahoma was all over the country helping to reel in some of the Sooners' best signings for a class that finished No. 14 overall and No. 2 in the Big 12. He ran point in signing five-star linebackerRicky DeBerry from Virginia and Army All-American Neville Gallimore from Canada. Additionally, he also played a role in the recruitment of four-star offensive tackle Dru Samia from California. If it starts up front then the future of the Sooners is in Montgomery's hands as many of his recruits will indeed be that future on both sides of the ball. - Greg Powers

Rivals however likes out two guys best
