Couple of notes for midweek recruiting

1) Per The Football Brainiacs and now other outlets, Jordan Elliott will visit Austin this week officially. I've maintained all along you never know what will happen with him until he signs his LOI. I like the staff's chances if they get him on campus.

2) I believe this signfies things are going well for Dontavious Jackson and Chris Brown along with Jeff McCulloch. The three are close with Elliott and might be pushing him to join them.

3) Obi Eboh will be in Austin for his official and I believe Texas can hang onto him. He's having a tough time with his decision though.

Great stuff Mike. One problem though, will Texas have enough room for these guys? Doing the math and we only have 9-11 spots remaining, right? One more question, can the Horns roll back Shane, Collin, Shack and Demarco to the 2015 class? I'm not sure how this all works, but UT had 27 enrollees last year and 6 of them were rolled back to 2014. Does that mean they could take 29 players this year? Or is that too easy?

Im going to have to sit down with the numbers and see what happens but the staff has a good handle on these things.

UPDATE: Trinity DT Chris Daniels just announced his de-commitment from Oklahoma. We heard about this earlier today but were asked to keep quiet. The most interesting thing is we heard about it along with some other rumors we can't quite get to yet. This does validate the source though. Texas should feel very comfortable where they sit here.

things do seem to be trending our way.  if it all falls in place then we will have an excellent class.  we will definitely be among the elite very soon.
