Recent offeree Stanley Lambert

Lambert, a tall athletic "reachy" wide Receiver from San Antonio Marshall was offered at UTL last Saturday night. He had one other offer (from UTSA) and it was hard to keep him from smiling when we talked about his camp performance.  He didn't talk about schools, instead said he was going to work on his game and take the process  slow since he still has two seasons of high school football to play.

I checked in with him last night and he let me know that Texas A&M and Oklahoma State have invited him to camps. 

Since he's had a handful of days to let the Texas offer sink in I asked him how he was feeling.

"I've been feeling great and I'm really wanting to go back , but this coming season I'm going to most of their home games!"

2018 is still a long ways away but Lambert is showing an early interest in the 'Horns.

I've heard since Saturday that this may have been a misinterpretation of what the coaches said. Same with Chasen Hines.

That said, Lambert had a great camp and will be under consideration down the line.
