​I like the matchup for UT as Rice comes with a name and top 25 ranking, but doesn't put up a lot of crooked numbers and lost Fox and Duplantier from last years rotation.  I watch a number of Rice games since I live in the area, Otto is a fantastic pitcher and will give UT trouble and the 3B Myers is a better late inning pitcher than his numbers suggest.

This could be a nice confidence boost for the new regime at UT this weekend and certainly like taking on Rice now, instead of later in the year as Coach Graham does a terrific job of building to the post season.

I'll do some checking and see if there is an update from this week. Article on Rice site says he is still slated to miss the start of the season and is sidelined.
