Prime Rib

I smoked a 5 pounder this Boxing Day...the rub had a tarragon, thyme, olive oil, orange zest, and garlic make-up. I then made a Roguefort sauce ( I must say it was awesome) to drizzle over it. My appetizer was smoked Lobster tails w/ a lemon dill sauce. My Father in Law gave it 5*s.

Sounds amazing! How long did it take to smoke and at what temp?

It was approx 2 1/2 for the Prime Rib and about the same for the tails...I put 7 tails in 2 separate pans w/ loads of butter, minced garlic and onions...smoked w/a mixture of Pecan/Apple.

250-300
