Good thing he named a starter. Anti-climactic but it does help to know who is going in.

I'm digging it. Still curious about the redshirts. Sound like Jalen will redshirt and Brewer might be the guy to play if the Ash/McCoy tank or get hurt. Mack said Brewer would be the guy because he played in a passing offense in high school .

Also great news to hear that the Horns seem to have bypassed the preseason injury bug. Mack named injuries as follows:

Anthony Fera, hip flexor

Jaxson Shipley – slight pull could play but will hold him out of practice tomorrow

Mike Davis - only a sore ankle.

Mack also mentioned that just because you see a guy in a walking boot or on crutches means nothing.
