Potential Injury News

I noticed a difference in his delivery immediately after he was thrown to the ground pretty hard, and I think it was mid to early third quarter. I was concerned from that point on. It's one reason I was getting really po'd at the guys taking unnecessary pot shots at him.

You know fellows, you will never have a woman's intuition.

I think Heard could do wonders in this offense
I agree 100% Hookem! I'm still baffled thathe was given a legit look during the offseason. Especially considering what Herman has done with other athletes turned qb...

Harrison, when will they have the results of the MRI?

I would think immediately. Is that true?

Same thing happened mid season.  Boo never seemed the same late in the season.  He is usually so accurate on deep balls and most of his were off Saturday.  He took that big hit the very first play of the game too.

If they start heard I'm done with Herman.

They said all preseason whether it was bullshit or not that Sam was neck and neck with Boo, so if Boo can't go give the kid a shot.  It's not like we were gonna RS him anyway

Easy soldier...

We have a lot of WRs and not a lot of QBs. Ehlinger was injured most of last year, so to go into a post Buechelle season without another option pushing QB1 would be a mistake

Besides, given the way our line played on Saturday we may need a QB who can scramble more than throw for a while. It's not ideal, but it's what we've got.

I agree with noonan, he already fed us with BS about the front line. If Sam doesn't get a start over heard that would do me in. If all he said was the truth. Just don't feed the fans with hype, if we suck TELL US. It'll all come out on the field like it did this weekend. But I'm gonna hope Boo is alright

He shouldn't be asked to throw it 50 times. None of the QBs on the roster should be. This isn't Texas Tech. The offense needs to be much more balanced.
Agree, the thing that disappointed me most Texas unwillingness to pound the rock which led to to Shane throwing 50+ passes.

I honestly don't understand it. There's no reason why Shane should be throwing 52 times in a game. What's wrong with leaning on Warren? The dude is built like a Mack truck. He's averaged 6.2 yards per carry throughout his college career, but you have a fragile, 180 lb QB running the ball 15 times (yes, I know some weren't designed runs) while CW3 only ran the ball 6 times. Also, the decision to split carries between Warren and Porter reminds me of the decision to split carries between JGray and D'Onta in 2015.

The decision to pretty much abandon the run game altogether when you have a true sophomore QB and a really talented runner like Warren is absolutely mind-boggling.

OL no better than the last 3 years. I'm having my doubts about Warren also. With these problems, maybe UT will have to pass 50+ times a game.

Warren averaged over 5 yards a carry givin the chance...that doesn't worry me to much. Coaches just have to call on him. But he isnt starting again this week and I was VERY dissappointed in porter so who knows.
