Possible Mack made a deal?

im just throwing it out there but do you think Mack told them i wont go untill saban is out of the question? i wont retire untill i know hes not coming? i mean something has happend? i just cant believe mack is allowed to come back

I understand that you are embarrassed - but this has to do with politics, friendship and power rather than pride...the latter left a few years back...

At this point it seems like anything could be possible. Maybe Mack got self righteous and didn't want Saban casting a big shadow on his legacy, or potentially trumping his achievements in a shorter amount of time-- who knows. Maybe I'm in absolute denial, but I just don't see how he could possibly come back. Nor can I see Mack having leverage over an AD who's not here to hold his hand.
