Pontentially Sad News on Kevin Shorter

Seen on several outlets the kid is going to have to "retire" due his injury earlier this year. His scholarship at Texas (again allegedly) will be honored as a medical one.

Really hate to hear this. Kid had some "scoots" about him.. was looking forward to seeing him compete!

Man our class this year is just not strong at the top. We can't afford to lose a kid with a high upside like Shorter.

I'm glad we are the kind of school to honor these types of commitments but you have to wonder after he went on other visits after the offer (or am I mistaking him for some one else?)
