The problem with Nebraska is that they think they should still be as good as they were in the mid 90s. That's not going to happen again. The formation of the Big 12 and Texas' insistence to cut out partial qualifiers killed that program and it's never recovered. They might make a run every few years in the B1G, but they are never going to be anything close to a national power again IMO.

Exactly. I also agree with Coach that leaving the Big 12 will haunt them, but it's their own fault. They couldn't wait to get out from under the fact that Texas and Oklahima were now the big dogs. Good riddance Tom Osborne
