taken from another board....

This will be the worst offense we've faced all season other than ULM and even ULM has a better rushing attack.

Total Offense: 121st
Passing Rank: 118th
Rushing Rank: 100th
Scoring Offense: 69th
Sacks Allowed: 116th
3rd Down Conv: 129th
Red Zone: 20th...not bad here.

OU's defense is above average but they do a good job creating opportunities such as turnovers and QB sacks

Total Defense: 42nd
Passing Defense: 75th
Rushing Defense: 27th
Defense Pass Eff: 91st
Scoring Defense: 19th
3rd Down Defense: 17th
Red Zone Defense: 45th
Turnover Margin: 3rd
Sacks: 5th

Long road ahead for us starting with ou. I hope it's another 2022 but it can certainly turn into another 2023. On paper it's a no-brainer, we win. Another dynamic QB in Hawkins will give us a challenge. I hope we can force him into freshman mistakes.

Starting tomorrow, we are taking a couple of extra days off work thanks to Milton. The current projected path is about a mile or two from our condo. Heading up to the Panhandle past Tallahassee.
Stay safe. Wishing the best for you and your family. These hurricanes are no joke.

Take care. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as they are predicting.

From CJ Vogel, re the OU game

"I’m tremendously confident in this game. Not quite 2022 level, but very high considering what this game is normally like going in. "

I'm not. You never know in this game. If we play like we should, we win. But it won't be easy. I see the same game as last year but we win.

Here's the thing with CJ Vogel, he does a great job but he is a kid - recently graduated from Texas. He doesn't have the experience of his colleagues like Gerry Hamilton and Bobby Hamilton. They both are confident but also understand the history of this game and how things can get turned on their heads.
