OU: 'Racism: We Won't Stand For It'

drunk frat dooshes are expendable . But talented football players are hard to come by .
Unfortunately This. Both are reprehensible acts.

Racism destroys our society can creates a divide in everyone to where we don't even try to relate to people because they must be "different" because they are a different skin color. It creates animosity where there shouldn't be any.

Domestic violence is also atrocious because it creates violence as commonplace in intimate relationships. However, the Joe Mixon situation I wouldn't classify as Domestic violence because it was a woman he wasn't in a relationship with. It was still assault and uncalled for unless he had to defend himself which from the description of the incident, he did not.  But DGB did hit his girlfriend and accepted him anyways so that's on Stoops.

But the football team brings in a ton of money and even though OU has beaten Texas 3 out of the past 4 seasons, they haven't lived up to the expectation of Sooner football. All Mixon got was a redshirt season. That was it. OU Football matters and drunk frat boys don't. We live in a capitalist society and if you can make someone money, you are going to be forgiven. It shouldn't be that way but it is in every sector.

They should have put his voice over images because watching his eyes read a card makes it seem a little less genuine.

When is Stoops going to come out with his we won't stand for football players that hit women video?

Yep

Nor do you see him policing his players listening to racist, sexist music which promotes violence.

While the frat boys speech was offensive, OU acted poorly and looking forward to seeing them lose and have to pay millions. . . .

Political correctness is a worse crime to me.

You know that your case is in trouble when the Daily Wipe, er, USA Today says that OU broke the law.

I have a problem with Stoops being willing to step up for something like this when it's not his program in the crosshairs.

Why does he keep finding a way to help women beaters? Where is Bob? When it comes to compassion, his is given to the perpetrator not the victim when it comes to beating women.

He isn't recruiting women to play football for him. He doesn't have to be sensitive to them in order to win games.

Since about 1947, ou has not let anything get in the way or slow down the train to win at all costs while keeping up some sort of a positive image, including battered women, frat boys, pay for work not performed, grades, $$$ or competition.

IMO, every serious Horn fan should read Robert Heard's book: Oklahoma vs. Texas: When Football Becomes War.  He documents in great specificity how the Big Red Machine got started and how it has been generously fed & maintained over the years.

Let's quit talking about skin color.  What are we going to do with the people that are prejudiced against morbidly obese persons?  And how about blonds?  Why is it they should have more fun?  That's simply not right and should be addressed.  No doubt it is preferential treatment and sorely affects the brunette school kids self esteem - and don't even mention (should I say it?) the red heads.  Or "gingers" as some low life, trailer trash prefer to call them.

I have no problem with the morbidly obese unless I have the middle seat on the plane and I have a fat on one side or the other. Then I don't like them so much.

Blondes just THINK they're having more fun. And, we LET them continue to think this because . . let's face it, they're blonde and having to explain all that would be some serious effort. Easier just to nod and wink.

Am I a bad person if I prefer blondes and I dislike sitting next to a morbidly obese person on an airplane?
