OT: What is your profession?

I am a lucky man, I have had 2 jobs in my life and I love both of them. I was an Architectural Draftsman/Land Surveyor for 6 years in the USAF...I am now a Wound Specialist and I get great pleasure in saving a patients limbs...I see things that would make a billy goat puke on a daily basis.

Aviation sales, working mostly with USAF and foreign air forces. Just started and launched my own business.

On my third career and sorely wish I had found it in my youth. Served in the Navy as a nuclear plant mechanic on fast attack submarine, then got masters in statistics and did data analysis, and now am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner helping kids get better and stay on track developmentally. I absolutely love it. Of course all that has been to pay bills, my real passion in life has been my 5 (surprise) kids.

I have a funny goat story. I was a medic in the Army and got deployed to Somalia two weeks after the Blackhawk down incident. We trained with some Ranger medics and one of our tasks was to keep our goat alive after we inflicted several "catastrophic" injuries upon them. Ours had a leg amputation and abdominal evisceration but we kept ours alive the longest at 36 minutes. A few days later we were down at the University complex and there was a burger stand where they served goat burgers. I always wondered if my goat was on the menu. Damn good burger though..it sure beat the hell out of an MRE :P

Really wish I would have followed my dream of being in the medical field. I had aspirations of being an RN or PTA but being a single parent of two girls, I had to keep food on the table and had to sacrifice some of my dreams.

5th grade teacher. Love every bit of it. Going back to school to get my masters in educational administration.

Looks like I am the only commercial credit analyst on the board! Oh wait, yeah, I'd rather fly 747's and do all this other cool stuff. I do enjoy my job though.
