SignUp Now!1. Angels in the Outfield (1951)A buddy of mine and myself got into this convo after talking about the HOF voting (yada, yada, yada)... And I proposed the question...what is the best baseball movie? Y'all's thoughts? There are some common sense choices...but I am going with The Sandlot...yes the Sandlot...over The Natural, over Field of Dreams, over Major League
- Never saw For Love of the Game (BTW, shouldn't it be For THE Love of the Game?).For Love of The Game Major League
The Natural and Bull Durham are great movies, but completely average leading ladies (Close and Sarandon) really hurt those two for me.
- Never saw For Love of the Game (BTW, shouldn't it be For THE Love of the Game?).- Major League was great.
- Loved The Natural...and I have to disagree on your take of Close. I thought she was very pretty and fit perfectly as the sort of anti-Kim Basinger.
- Hated, Hated, HATED Bull Durham. Crappy storyline with quite possibly the ugliest lead character ever in the history of all movies. Sarandonwrap ruined it.
- Great movie with a leading lady that was smoking hot ( yes )- Never saw For Love of the Game (BTW, shouldn't it be For THE Love of the Game?).- Major League was great.
