Do you think those sites will become obsolete due to Strong's lockdown on information? Some say they already have but what's your opinion?

The sites will grow or shrink based on their ability to provide real content. . .the "soap opera/drama days" of insiders and wannabe insiders is over. . .now they will be judged on football and recruiting news. . .the ability to provide real insight

That and the "strength of the community". . . I applaud the crew here for standing firm and not allowing the inmates to run the asylum. . .this board will grow because people can discuss without the crapola. . .

Each site has pros and cons and fills a niche. . .

It's just a matter of time before inside information is available again. Once people are in place and people know who and who not to contact it will flow again.

Have to agree echeese. All three made their living off having a lot of sources in the Mack administration or through BMDs, which Mack always kept in the loop.

Right now Strong has kept this tight lipped and since most of the staff is new, there has not been and inside connections yet. That will probably change once things get going. Right now there is too much fluidity to really lock down a source with real information.

The community aspect has become both what I love and hate about those sites. I have been on OB for 11 years and it was really good back in the day. The main reason I stayed around despite the inmates running the prison, was that community feel still. However that is getting less and less as good posters leave and/or get run off by the mob.

It used to be that I would go to OB primarily and the other sites to check on stuff. Now I come here and use OB and others to check on things.

Not that I care. I came from Hornfans where there was no inside info.
