Opening Ceremony - TEAM USA

As much as I hate LeBron James in a Heat uniform I just about damn cried when I saw his ass walking across for the opening ceremony... We all differ on our sports teams (Longhorns excluded) but for the next two weeks it is all about the United States kicking ass and taking names.

When it's the Olympics all individual sports hatred is gone. Notice I said sports hatred. It's different from regular old fashioned, like you did something wrong to me, hatred. Sports hatred is easy to acquire and just as easily lost. Hence watching Lebron made you feel good instead of bad.

The Olympics are also very special. Sir Paul McCartney has played everywhere and done just about everything, but he choked during 'Hey Jude'. That was my gulp moment.

Plus did you like James Bond and the Queen? Good job London.

The queen was an old snob last night, particularly when those deaf children performed. Not one smile from her, the old gasbag. Paul McCartney needs to focus on what he does best - bagging young chicks. He is old and has lost many a step in his singing endeavors... 007 will always be cool, unconditionally.
