Horn Sports had a chance to speak with 2016 CB Malik Antoine from University Lab School (Baton Rouge, LA):

Read this article folks. Antoine is only a 2016 kid, but it'd be a major coup for Strong to start building a Baton Rouge connection.

Talked with Antoine yesterday and he has offers from the Ragin' Cajuns and Cal. Said his recruitment is wide open at this point.

I imagine the pressure for these Red Stick kids to stay home and play at LSU is ENORMOUS!

But, maybe it's just better for them to experience another place.  A university that's much higher rated academically - like UT.

Antoine would be an interesting target. A 2016 kid that could pave the way for teammate Dylan Moses......

His high school is on the LSU Campus! No way he doesn't go with the Tigers when he is offered.

Another tidbit on Antoine - He told me that he might be heading to Austin this weekend too for another visit.

Talked w/ Antoine tonight.  He won't be attending the Under the Lights Camp this weekend.  Had an invite but will be visiting TCU instead.  Evidently the Horned Frogs have been interested in bringing him in for a visit for quite some time.

It will be telling to see how far/if The Lab players stray outside of Louisiana. I would expect the UT coaches to use that as a measuring stick on how much effort to put into a player like M.A.

Good for him to get to see TCU up close.
