Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech

Pat Mahomes in at QB for Tech now but Davis Webb is still clapping and walking around.  Doesn't look to be hurt too bad.

I felt like both of these teams would finish in the bottom half of the league before the season started. This game has done nothing to convince me otherwise.

And, yes, the uniforms are an abomination (on both sides).  Both teams are dressed like a football team in a movie.

The KK honeymoon is over. That team is poorly coached right now and has one of the worst defenses in the country.

And before this season, KK got a contract extension until 2020.  After one sub-par season, he gets tonight's results. WOW!

Tech has some big money donors...think they might regret the contract extension through 2020? Regret, just a little?

You are kidding, right ? How can you think that OSU team that played FSU toe to toe ( actually should have beat them ) will finish near the bottom of the Big 12 ? I will agree that Tech has a very weak run defense, but their offense ( with a healthy QB ) will keep them in every game except Baylor and OU.  If Webb can't play, they may be in a world of hurt. As far as OSU is concerned they are good enough to hang with the #1 team in the country. I'm sure OSU came in thinking Tech was a pushover after Arky spanked them, resulting in a game that was closer than it should have been. OSU in Stillwater and Tech in Lubbock are going to be seriously tough games for us.

Tech's defense has never been really good since the Pirate arrived. They play offense and plan to outscore you. KK's contract extension  was crazy, but they can put points on the board, and will beat most teams that have to punt the ball 2 or 3 times. Their problem now is QB ( injuries, etc ).

K-State is putting a beat down on a UTEP team that should have beaten Tech. Fair to say Tech is pretty bad.
