Guys, odds of Murray coming to UT are slim, at absolute best. He would have to sit out an academic year before he would be eligible to play any sports.

The more likely route would be a transfer to a JUCO. That allows him to play baseball immediately and go into the draft in June of 2017. (I think that's correct on the draft part.)
Any Texas coach who even entertains the idea of letting Murray transfer to Texas should be fired on the spot!

Texags --

"Despite the many theories that have been discussed the last couple of days, the issue at hand is not a player transferring or a coach being hired/fired.
The issue is concerned with academic eligibility and how certain things pertaining to that have been handled. That is all that can be said for now, but you will know all about it in the next few days."

I know the practical likelihood of Murray transferring to UT is low, but why do people seem to be opposed to that? I know he didn't take over the world during his true freshman fall semester, but Murray is still the stud we all knew him to be coming out of HS. Ton of talent/athleticism, track record of success at the highest level, football knowledge and IQ, and a great competitor. I for one would excitedly welcome his transfer here if that were the case.

Again, I know this is all hypothetical, but what are y'alls thoughts?

One word: poison.

Won't come to UT, he couldn't hang under Strong. Now if he would've came he'd be a day one starter for us but good thing he didn't bc he'd look worse under Watson than he does now.

He's a gamer and a winner. He'll land on his feet somewhere.

Both he and his dad are all me, me, me, me, me. Just look at what is going on now with them.

The kid cusses a coach and then gets to start next week!

Now him and his dad are having meetings with Sumlin and others in athletic department.

He never was coming to Texas. His visiting Texas last year was all about being the center of attention.

And his dad was a true helicopter dad in HS and still is.

He and his dad are the last thing Charlie needs right now.

I'm sorry. I just can't stop laughing.

For real though, can you imagine what must be going through Daylon's head right now.
