I just posted something similar on another a site. Looking at that schedule, there's a real possibility they go 6-6 or 5-7 if they lose to ASU

SignUp Now!I have the over/under at 6 wins for aggy this year. They're picked to finish 6th outta 7 in the SEC West. Whoop!I too believe that aggy will be fairly decent. They'll win 9 or less and act like they invented football. For be foreseeable future this is what we are dealing with.
Thing is the defense isn't loaded with talent. They have very little talent at LB or in the secondary. The defensive line has some talent but only one guy that's ever produced anything.I think there is a lot of wishful thinking going on here. I have my suspicions about aggy this year. Even though they lost a ton of good players, they are still loaded with talent.
I said this on another site - that Sumlin is not a good coach. But neither was Mack and UT overwhelmed teams with its better talent.
Aggy's OOC game schedule is pathetic and they should sweep them. And, IMO, they will do better than most think, in the SEC West. It would not surprise me to see them go 7-3 or even 8-2.
Sounds about right to me. Only team I think they are better than is Miss. State. They could finish 4th or 5th and it wouldn't surprise me.I have the over/under at 6 wins for aggy this year. They're picked to finish 6th outta 7 in the SEC West.

Yep. Mack was pretty darn successful at North Carolina before coming to Texas. 5 out of his last 6 years at North Carolina he finished in the top 25, with a couple top 10 finishes and 3 10 win seasons.sumlin couldn't carry mack's jock.
That's very correct. Well posted. And Mack built his own teams. In large measure Stumblin inherited his better teams.
OK, that made me laugh.I guess aggy lost the memo. DeLoss signed over the deed - LSU now owns them.
Easy now, he is currently their most successful pro athlete.
Sumblin should've kept Mike Sherman around as his Director of Player Personnel. His O-Linemen, in particular, were impressive. And Mack built his own teams. In large measure Stumblin inherited his better teams.
