If Mack Brown has already used an in home visit on a recruit can Strong now make a visit or has the Longhorns visit technically already been used?

Official visits are to THE UNIVERSITY, not to any specific Head Coach.

If Mack Brown brought a prospective recruit in on an official visit, that recruit has used his official visit to Texas.

A recruit can make 5 official visits to 5 different schools.

Recruits can make as many unofficial visits as the desire at their own expense.

Yes, but the Head Coach is allowed only 1 in-home visit per recruit. That's why Mack tended to make them later, close to signing day.

Different than an official visit, which as stated above, is to The University.

I believe Strong can, but I dont know how many in homes Mack actually made that matter.

Normally Mack used his in home visits in the weeks leading up to signing day. I now he used them already for our midterm guys.

We know Mack was in Florida (when he should have been on a podium saying "bye") days b4 the "firing." He was believed to be visiting Andrew Beck, ILB

He visited Beck for sure. Think he did one or two in the Houston area.

Should be fine.

That was maddening. MB making in house visits while they were trying to retire him (I'm sure he would say differently). But he knew that any in home visits he made would hurt a new head coach. I don't remember him making in-homes that early (mid Dec) in the past. Maybe someone knows.
